Raytheon-EiE Scholarships Bring Engineering to Classrooms Nationwide

Raytheon Company announced 32 recipients of the 2013 - 2014 Raytheon - Engineering is Elementary® (EiE®) Teacher Scholarships. The awards are part of a $2 million grant from Raytheon to the Museum of Science that is helping spread the award-winning curriculum across the country.

In December, 15 million students in 170 countries wrote 500,000,000 lines of code in one hour during Computer Science Education Week. That weekend hundreds of visitors (photo right) braved freezing rain and snow to discover how important and fun computer science could be at the Museum of Science, Boston.
